Amanda Gorman delivered her magical poem, “The Hill We Climb” and it tapped into the collective spirit of hope for a better future, presenting a sense of connection that overrides our differences and replaced them with possibility. We live in a male dominated world and Ms. Gorman showed the world the strength of femininity. It was amazing to see how a 22 year old delivered this nurturing poem - this was her opportunity and she took it.
