Henry Ford was the founder of the Ford Motor Company and he famously implemented the concept of the assembly line to increase production efficiency and reduce costs, which ultimately led to lower car prices and increased sales. Ford recognised the importance of leisure and its connection to his strategy for selling cars by making cars affordable and accessible to the average person it would enable them to have more leisure time and enjoy activities outside of work.
